1st Class

we took our first flight yesterday from Chicago to LA. Lucky me I had some upgrades and we were able to snag a seat in 1st class. As Nick said, it took him 30 years to get in 1st class (and me nearly as long) but Josie manages after 12 short weeks.

I tried to get a better picture, but was probably still distracted from the poo explosion that detonated shortly after take off. Thank goodness the air sick bags are designed to hold in wet, stinky messes. If the outfit weren't so cute, I probably would have thrown them out. They were that gross. The rest of the flight went really well. What a relief. Here's hoping the return flight (most likely in coach *sigh*) goes as smooth.

Rolly Polly #2

We had our first request, a video of Josie trying to roll over but where you can see her face. and a pretty cute face it is. You can see that she is starting to roll over intentionally instead of accidentally. She actually looks mischievous before she throws herself to the side.

The Little Mermaid

Just wanted to post some pictures of Josie's first Halloween.

Rolly Polly

After a night where Josie just wouldn't be soothed (I got up probably 7 times from 4am to 7am), she goes and does something to put me in an incredible mood. Nick was letting me sleep, but had to wake me up to let me know that Josie rolled over for the first time. I hopped out of bed, grabbed the camera and crossed my fingers that she would do it again...and she did! Yay! I know no one is as excited about this as we are, but thought you would enjoy the video anyway.

Tummy Time

Josie is definitely starting to mind time on her tummy less and less. I think it is because she is getting stronger and stronger. She is getting close to rolling over, but hasn't quite gotten the idea yet. This picture on the bottom reminds me of the Brain from Pinky & The Brain.

All through the night

Josie slept through the night last night...YAY!!! I guess technically she has slept through the night before (5 hours of solid sleeping) but when she is waking up at 4am, it doesn't feel like all the way through the night. Very different from last night when she went to sleep at 10pm and didn't wake up until 6:30am. Then she ate and went back to sleep until 8am. We am keeping my fingers crossed that this trend continues. (originally posted 11/17/2008)
