Pictures in the Park

I was really planning on working backwards and trying to catch up on my posts. Easter was supposed to be next...but then I received some wonderful pictures from my friend who was visiting and I just couldn't wait to post them.

In the past, Michelle and Gabe have visited Chicago during the coldest months. Needless to say, they didn't have the greatest impression-especially coming from Hawaii. This time they got to enjoy a Chicago summer, including a Cubs game, Italian ice on Taylor St and (probably my favorite) lounging on the porch. Michelle is a photographer (I Do Believe Photography) and I am thrilled that she decided to take some pictures while here. By the way, in case you are planning a trip to Hawaii, Gabe is a dive instructor on Oahu (Kaimana Divers).

So we headed out to the park (yes it was one of those 90+ degree days) and played on the play ground:

Then we ran around for a little while, though I had to remind Josie that she's a lady:

It was a fun day. We just wish Daddy could have been there too. Thanks Michelle!
